Invitations

Invitations

Is it worth it to do this yourself? Does the money saved make up for the time spent? I'm kind of short on both...

If you order invitations from a printer... how long before the wedding should they be ordered?

It depends how much patience you have...It can probably get a bit tiring to do it all yourself...I ordered mine but still had to put invites and directions in inner envelope, rsvp cards in their envelope then all those in the outer envelope and hand-writing them all. But that is me lol, that was just for e-party, for the wedding i am definitely not hand writing them all, i will look into hiring a calligraphist...or you can also print them yourself or the invitation company can do it for you, they'll even mail it for you if you want.

All invitations have to be ensembled unless you just get panel cards. So everything has time involved with putting them together. You really need to price out what you like and then take it from there.

I would say having them printed would be a lot easier and save you some time. It might not save you the money though. All invited have to be assembled. So that does take up some time. For our E-party I had done the addresses on labels so it save me the time from handwriting them. And it looks neater on the labels.
