Re: invitations
I did... took me FOREVER to figure ours out. It's so hard b/c you're looking at a piece of paper and the woman said... you can change the color, font, wording, etc. So it's pretty much starting from scratch. LOL! Oh well... I let my mom and FMIL decide and I loved it when it was done. It's different when you see yours and FH's names on the invitation.

Re: invitations
picking invitations were hard for me as well. I couldn't decide what I liked and what I didn't like. Then my FH found one that he loved and wanted and didn't want any other type but that one. He said that he wanted to pick something out so that's what he did. Needless to say it's not the invite that I really wanted but it's nice and he loves it so thats a good thing.

Re: invitations
I had a hard time because FH was designing them himself and we have...let's just say...very different ideas about what we each wanted. It eventually broke down into three days of not speaking to each other (and I showed him something like 15 invitations in the similar theme that I wanted), and he finally just did what I wanted and they turned out beautifully . Even the letterpress printer we're using said that they were simply gorgeous.
But until our moms were happy with the wording (OK, my mom), and we tweaked it to death...colors, copy, fonts, image layout...oy vey. Not the most fun I've ever had. But they came out so lovely that it's hard to complain--it's not like anything we could have bought online (for the price).
Wow, these are some nice invitations.. but are they kidding with the prices???? $25-40 PER INVITATION? If I had an unlimited wedding invite budget I'd get these, but otherwise...

I didn't agonize too much about which ones to order, but I now have a week to get them all out together....that I am dreading!

They custome design, so they can make invitations for less. It all depends on the paper you choose. I am meeting with them in a few weeks - but they charge a hefty consultation fee. I understand though - so many people at DIYing now, they dont want you to just pick their brain and then make your own. The fee goes toward your purchase, and they have some invites for about 15-18. So we will see! I know it is a lot, but I love them!
