How many months before the wedding should I send out my invitations and how long should I give them to respond?

at least 8-10 weeks before the wedding. if you're getting married on a holiday weekend, you want to get the invites out closer to 3 months before. I gave people only 3-4 weeks to respond b/c I knew I was going to spend a lot of time chasing people for answers. A lot of people usually give almost 6 weeks. Also, factor in when your hall needs the final count so you give yourself enough time to give them as close to an accurate number as possible.

my hall needs ther count 1 month before the wedding so my RVSP dates 1 month and 1 week before the wedding. my invites are going out 11 weeks before the wedding b/c of this

my invitations are going out in 2 weeks and my response date is May 15th.
