So, I just got my invitations today and I really do not like them...I thought getting all white would be pretty, but they look so BORING to me, no character at all...also, the envelopes that came with them are just plain regular envelopes that a Hallmark card would come in,..I thought they were suppose to be pearlized, I am so disappointed I want to cry...I listened to everyone when they told me not to go crazy, but they still cost about $500..and there is nothing I can do...I was thinking about getting a different color ribbon at Micheals to spice it up and maybe reorder enevelopes that are pearlized...whatever Anyway, thanks for listening.....

Re: invitations
Trust me - Do not dwell on it. Focus on the wedding day itself. Half the people write down the info the need and throw away the invitation. I never knew this until past brides informed my and I have asked some family member that are married and they agreed. My cousin told me that she already threw mine away b/c she knew all the info already!
Don't spend any extra money- I don't think it's worth it.... JMO HTH

Re: invitations
I figure most people will not remember the invite, but they will remember the wedding, so I did the same as you and cut back in that department. If you want to add a ribon to spice it up that is fine, but I woudl not put more money than that into it. JMO

Re: invitations
Don't worry too much about it...I said it before, no one really pay too much attention to an invitation's details. Take it from my experience, we attended 5 weddings last year and I admit I don't remember any of my friends invitation look like. The first thing we did (and I'm sure most people will do) when we received the invite was check the date, place and time..then its stay in a drawers.
I understand you want everything to be perfect (thats what I want too) but we can't sweat small stuff and/or spend extra dollars.

Don't worry about it!!! I'm sure they're nicer than you think. Also no one will care what it looks like.
