invitations

here's a question

a few people in my family have been dating for a few years, but live separately (little cousins and their girlfriends and such).. so when sending invites and save the dates what should i do? just send them each an invite to their houses and not put guest.. or i mean is it rude to assume they would go with eachother? i don't know i wouldn't wanna put both their names on the invites.. hmm.. i'm confusing myself. anyone understand me? lol

Re: invitations

address it to your cousin, at their address, and underneath, put their girlfriend/boyfriend name.

Only send 1 invite, but to your family member.

Re: invitations

Well save the dates are not addressed & guest, its to the main person who is going to be invited. For your invites you should put family member & guest and when you're wedding comes and you know their guests name on the table card put family member & girlfriend name.

Although they don't live together I put them on the invite but only sent it to my family members house

Mr John Smith
Mrs Joanne Johnson

For the wedding invite, the proper etiquette would be to address the outer envelope to the person you are inviting and on the inner envelope to put both of their names.

for informal STD's, etc. I would just put both names one on top of the other like noted above.

You don't put anything about guests on the save the date. You just address it to your cousin.

Unless they live together, guests go on the inner envelope of the invites only - not STDs.
