does anyone know a good place to look at invitations (either a store or online)? If you have a picture of ones you like post them too. I really need to order, but I have no idea what I like. THANKS!

i had looked online...but I am the type that needs to really see and feel them.... I went to 'Have You Heard' in Bellmore on Merrick Road. They were very helpful and had an incredible variety of invitations.

thanks girls! I went to have you heard too. they had nice stuff, but nothing caught my eye. I found my wedding dress right away, but my invitation is going to take forever.

I know what you mean. I decided to make mine instead. Luckily two of BM's are anal retentive, computer literate and graphically inclined. They're like the perfect storm for designing invites. I ordered a mock up kit so once I can print out a prototype I'll post it for you!

I like invitationconsultants.com and finestationary.com as online resources.

I ultimate bought mine through Bunny Shestack of Invite&Write in the city. She knows the industry SO well, and helped point out a high quality manufacturer that has much better prices than those of a similar quality (Rita Renning). She's also helping me do a custom order with pocketfolds.
