Re: Invitations

I was just going to post a thread like this! Invitations get to be so expensive when we all know they all go in the garbage after the wedding. I can't see spending all that money!!! I was interested and doing them. Maybe getting a whole kit! I am very savy with the computer.

Has anyone bought a kit to make them from home?

Re: Invitations

I wanted to order some online. Then I got the samples in the mail and they all looked like cheap crap. I went to one of the bridal expos and met Tammy from Sincerely Yours invites in Sayville. I looked through her books and everything was so elegant. She works out of her home so u have to make an appt. On her website, u really can't tell the quality of the invites. When I had my appt, she was able to work within my budget and my invites r gorgeous. I picked out some that are envelopments. The envelope folds out to the invite and then there are little folder pouches for the RSVP card and the directions.

This is kind of what they look like:

I am going to use DIY invites for the rehearsal dinner. I actually found some in Target that are really nice.

Re: Invitations

I had my invites customized by a vendor in Plainview called 'A Bridal Paperie'.

This company actually saved me when an online company I used didn't come through after paying her $1000.

I highly recommed A Bridal Paperie. They are good and honest people.
