Did any of you ladies order the reception card? I figured the information will be on the invitation...just wondering what you girls did. Also, on the return address of the invitations and response cards, whose name do you put? just my name? me and fh? (we dont live together yet) thankssss!!

Re: Invitations
If you're reception is taking place at the same location as your ceremony, it is ok to include this on the invitation. However, if they are at different venues, I think that etiquettes call for you to have a separate reception card with all the reception info.

Re: Invitations
I did order the reception card b/c in our case (and I thought most cases) the info on the invitation itself is for the church. As far as the return address goes, I THINK you're supposed to put the name and address of whoever is paying for the wedding. In our case, I put my parents' names and their home address on it. HTH!

Re: Invitations
I put 'Reception immediately following'
Also...on the outer envelope I just put our address (no names).
For the response card envelopes I put both of our names (we live together) but is fine to just use your name!

Re: Invitations
I did not use a reception card. I put at the bottom of the invite . . reception immediately following at Larkfield Manor
I included their direction card so everyone should be able to figure it out.

Re: Invitations
You only need a reception card if you are getting married somewhere besides the hall.
As for the return address is can be whoever is going to be taking care of RSVPs, our return address was the planner b/c at the time we were moving and she KNEW I would lose them, so she took care of them and gave them to me whenever I would meet with her.
