Ok, so a few months ago I found an invitation design that I LOVED on invitationsbydawn.com. It was SO us and it fit the theme I am trying to incorporate into our wedding. It was a couple on a canoe in a lake. We got engaged after a romantic canoe ride on a camping trip. I ordered a sample. I hesitated to order because: #1 We are on a budget and I thought I should try to do the invitations myself to save money. #2 Our wedding is next March and I figured I had time.
Now I went on the website to check the prices again to compare to DIY ones and the invitation is nowhere to be found on the site! I feel so stupid for waiting. I am really sad. What do I do?

Yes, it almost looks like a water-color painting.

Re: INVITATIONS
Try emailing or calling the company and asking if they still make it.

Re: INVITATIONS
its too soon to order in my opinion- i'd be too nervous to order this soon- so much has changed in my wedding planning in the past year! i think u will find something like it or the same one - no worries!
Thanks for the help girls. They no longer make it! I am really sad. It seemed so perfect for us. I hope I can find something similar. I really do wish that I had ordered it. Can anyone suggest any other sites for inexpensive invitations besides invitationsbydawn.com? TIA!

Re: INVITATIONS
OK, there is another invitation on the same site which is called 'Off the Dock' and has a picture of a dock over a lake. He proposed on a dock. This one is more expensive though! The other one was so much better. Is it crazy to be this upset over invitations?
Thanks. I will check that out. It was not that one. I can't even show you a pic now! It was a pretty picture of a lake with trees on the surrounding land and you could see the backs of the couple in the canoe. It looked like a bride and groom and there was a little cabin out on the land. Ok, I am starting to sound a little nuts obsessing over these invitations I can't get. I guess if I wanted them that bad, I should have ordered them. It never even crossed my mind that they would get rid of them!

Re: INVITATIONS
This is not a site but rather a place where I got my invites from - Just Announce It! in Oceanside- they were very reasonably priced and had invitations for all budgets... I was also very very happy with their service and I also used them for calligraphy as well.
They're also a LIW vendor.

Re: INVITATIONS
Maybe you can incorporate your theme into the STD cards? You can use a photo...and design it just the way you want. (That's what we did).
Good luck!

Re: INVITATIONS
yup, that's how we did kat's invitations (check 'em out here!!) and how we will be doing mine. we also both used 'borrowed graphics' on our STDs.

FH said the same thing! I just wasn't sure how we would go about the whole process. If I scan the whole thing, it has the 'sample' info. on it. I guess I could just scan the front pic. What about the little response envelopes and all of the little extras? Can I just do those myself? Thanks for all of the help everyone!
