Invitations

Invitations

OK, I've been behind on things and not sweating them, but, it just occurred to me yesterday I NEED INVITATIONS! Like yesterday!
So, this was one area that I didn't want to spend a lot on, but I still don't want them to look cheap. I looked at einvite through Costco, Invitations by Dawn, and WeddingPaperDivas. I loved a few on WPD, but FH hated them. That was the price range I wanted, no more than $2 per invite.
Of course we both loved the ones that were $5 per invite on WPD.

Any other suggestions? I live in Brooklyn, and would love an online place, or somewhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan.
Thanks in Advance!

Re: Invitations

Try Michaels they have really nice invites and they are not expensive at all. Some are only $50-75 per box and then you print them yourself. I planned on going that route if my pocketfolds were harder to do then expected.

which ones did you like on WPD? I'm bored at work, maybe I can help you find similar ones for cheaper!

I loved 'Toile Borders' but FH hated them!
We both liked Blissful Blossoms, but too expensive. I like a simple floral motif. Thank you so much for offering to do that for me. I teach and have NO down time or computer access at work. We are actually leaving to look at a local printer in a few minutes. Thank you!

Re: Invitations

I just ordered my invitations today from Michelle at E-Z Calligraphy. I knew exactly what I wanted, so my correspondance was completely online. She is an LIWeddings vendor and she came back with the best price. She is also opening a retail store and is running some promos, she threw in free computerized calligraphy with my order. Some vendors wanted as much as $2/invitation just for the computerized calligrapghy.

Good luck!

The Blissful Blossoms are very pretty! would consider getting them not letter pressed? that would make them so much more affordable.. It's the letter pressing that is so expensive.

Re: Invitations

I used The Pulp studio on line.

Wenda was very helpful and got them to me pretty quick with deadlines even during crunch time.

You would be surprised at some of the costs not too bad.
