i am not sure on the timeline for things, invitations when should they be sent out? when should you put the reply date for a month before the wedding! not sure how these things work.

My date is 2/20/09. My rsvp is 1/23/09 i plan on sending them out the begining of December to get them in the mail before the Xmas rush. But I'd say the usual 1 month before rsvp. and i month before rsvp to mail is perfect!

If your date is 9/6...
IMO, I would put an RSVP date of 1 1/2 months before the big day so that would be: July 26th
And I would give them a month before the RSVP date to respond so send them around June 28th

IMO, I think it should also depend on if you have a B list or not...If you know you are not going to invite any more people then I would say make the RSVP about a month before.. If you think you might be sending out a second round of invites depnding on many people are not coming to the wedding, then I would say maybe a month and a half or so? I am probably sending out my invites two and a half months before and giving them until a month before to RSVP...

Actually my wedding is 2/14 Im mailing my invites out at the beginning of Nov. Because i want a chance to be able to send out B list if needed. My RSVP is Jan. 5th.
