How much is the average price of invitations??? Also do you need a reception card if you are having the reception and ceremony at the same location?

First how many invitations do you need? And do you want custom designed ones or ones you can just order from a book? I'm not sure about the reception card.

I think ones that come from a book would be fine. I want to spend about 500 but I wasn't sure if that was too cheap. I am having about 225 people so I was planning on ordering 125-150 invitations.

A seperate reception card is not neccessary if you're having the ceremony at the same place, although you could include one if you choose.
We actually got our invitations at Party City. They have quite a few books of invitations to choose from, and they're always 30% off.
For 100 invitations, we spent about $250. Our invitations were simple and traditional, but we received many many compliments on them.
