Invitations

Invitations

So I'm a little clueless on how much invitations cost. A friend of mine recommened a website to me, that I have heard a lot of ppl mention on here. This friend ordered 140 invites (I need to order 160) and it was $500. When I first heard this I thought it was a good price, probably b/c she told me it was, but when I told my FMIL how much they were I thought she was going to have a heart attack, and she's telling me to shop around. If it really is a good price though, I don't feel the need to drive myself nuts. I like the invitations, but if they are expensive please let me know girls!! I have NO idea how much things cost

Thanks in advance!!

Re: Invitations

it depends on what type of invitations you want. Pocketfolds are going to cost more then flat invitations.
Embosing is going to cost more. The same with layering, crystals, ribbon etc.

I'm probably using Tessa and she'll work with you on your budget and tell you what you can and can't do to stay on budget.

I am a little hesitant to just order off of a website, and I was making the exception with my friends b/c I saw her invites in person. Have you seen any invitations from this website in person?

P.S.: That website is under construction right now boooo!

Haha Tessa is the ones I showed my FMIL... So basically $500 is not astronomical?? I mean it's silly, because $500 is in my budget, but I don't want to get ripped off at the same time.

No.
I went looking at invitations in person and i was getting quoted in the thousands!! Which is freaking ridiculous unless they are lined in 14k gold lol.
I told her i'm not looking to go over $400 for pocketfolds and i'm going to need about...... 125 of them. She said it's do-able.

The great thing about tessa is she does work and gives you a proof and then the price quote which u can either then continue working with her or stop. Your not contracted into something your not happy with.

Only order online if you can get a sample

I think I'm going to stick with Tessa then. If I know $500 isn't crazy, then I'll stick with her. I really like her invites :)

Thank you ladies
