I feel like I am so behind with things
When should invitations be ordered if the wedding is in October...I am clueless!!!

You should definitely start looking now...just to get an idea of pricing and what styles you like, to narrow things down and figure out what you can do within your budget.

If you're getting custom-designed ones, you should definitely start soon.

If you're ordering them though, you have more time.

And if you're DIY'ing them, then that's all under your own control once you pick out what you like.

I am not sure what to do I was thinking of looking at Etsy...not sure though! I have to get in gear though. This wedding stuff is NOT easy!

I'm getting mine from Etsy. Same seller did my STDs and I was really happy with them. I'm getting married in October too. She just did our invitation proof. I like to get things done early so I feel like I'm ahead of the game with ordering. If you have no idea what you want though, I would definitely get your search in gear now! I ordered a bunch of samples from different sellers before making a final decision.

To give you a timeline, invites typically go out about 2 months before, with an rsvp date of about a month before, give or take-so if you're getting married 10/29 your invites should prob. be out by 8/29 or so..

you also need to give yourself at least a few days to stuff them, depending on how many there are..

so honestly, wherever you decide to order/design them, just make sure they're aware you need them by 8/1..which gives you just under 5 months, which is plenty of time
