Invitations

Invitations

So I only invited 2 people from my job along with respective husbands.

About two weeks ago when I sent the invite my boss and she called to say how excited she was to have received an invite (she works out of our Regional office upstate and I work out of here in Long Island). I told her that I had just invite her and one of my coworkers who sits right next to me (we have cubicles where you see each other) and whom I am pretty close to. My boss then said, 'Its a Sat. would she be able to come? Maybe weddings are an exemption'

I forgot my coworker is a 7th Day Adventist! What kind of friend am I?

Now she hasn't said anything to me about receiving the invite.

Should I say something? Like I'm sorry I forgot? Or just leave it alone.

Re: Invitations

I wouldn't say anything. If she can't make it, she'll RSVP no but I'm sure she appreciates that you thought of her!

I wouldn't say anything....if she says anything, just say you wanted to extend the courtesy of an invite.

Re: Invitations

yes, you are overthinking it

Just because you know someone can't attend doesn't mean they don't get an invitation

I sent out several invites to people who i know will not be attending. they all appreciate the though
