Invitations...

So our Wedding is not until Next September... I havent even started looking at invites yet! Should I be? LoL Im seeing girls posting invite proofs and ideas and some ordered! I feel like a slacker haha

I started looking at invites about a year out. Picked a place and started working on the copy about 8 months out. I'm sending mine out 3 months in advance cause it's a destination wedding and I don't want to send them out around Christmas card time. So I think you are on track.

I did mine early simply because I am a psycho!! I found something that I loved and went with it! I would say to start looking now so that when the wedding gets closer you are not going crazy with a bunch of different things. It will be one less thing to have to do - Just remember that you have to find ones you love, design them, go through the whole process of having them printed and then addressing and stamping and all that fun stuff!

you still have plenty of time but finding the perfect one took me alittle bit of time and now getting every persons address seems to be taking me even longer! I just want to get them out of the way so closer to the wedding I can stress about more important stuff.

you have plenty of time for invites. If you are having someone actually make them for you, I would maybe start looking at wgo you would like to use and contact them. Maybe you can start getting some samples now but you have plenty of time before you need to actually order them

I think youre fine! Your wedding is later in the year so thats one thing. I'm dealing with mine now because theyre completely DIY and I want to have plenty of time to get them finished. Maybe you could start getting an idea of what kind of thing you want and what type of place youre going to get it from but I wouldnt worry about it
