Invitations
Can anyone recommend an invitation place that is reasonably priced. I don't want to spend more then $4 per invite and I just met with someone who wanted $7.00 each!!!!! Trying to stay within a budget but have something nice.

I used Marry Me Designs (http://marrymedesigns.com/), everything was done via phone and email and she was a lot cheaper than any of the places I visited. She was great to work with, even did a couple of friends of mine and they had the wonderful same experience.

FH and I found nice invites at AC Moore and other brides have found them at Michaels. You go the the website associated with the company they carry and either use their templates with name, date and location changes or modify it further to suit you then print it for your printer. It cost us $15 for a box of 50 because FH had a 55% off per item coupon. We bought 2 boxes for $30.
Money is very tight for us so we are doing a lot of DIY's.
Good luck whatever you decide

Re: Invitations
I went to j&d and found them to be very sweet but they couldn't re create my dream invitation for a decent price. IMO they were a little pricey. Etsy has a lot of nice invitations but I'm afraid to deal with someone out of state.

Same here! I found a nice invitation on etsy but I found it to be to risky dealing with someone through email & out of the state or out of the country.

Thats an understandable concern. If you do consider the etsy route, find an established seller with lots of reviews, and check their policy about proofs/revisions. Sellers typically provide you with digital proofs for you to approve before it goes into production. You can also order sample before you make any type of commitment.
