I'm starting to get my invitations together and having the outside envelopes printed. How do the inside envelopes work? Is using labels on the inside one tacky or should they be handwritten?? Help!

you dont need to write anything on the inside one. do you mean the inside envelope or the response envelope?

The inner envelopes . You are supposed to write the names of who is invited. Like mr smith and guest?? The RSVP envelopes were printed with the invitations

You don't have to write anything at all if you don't want. I think that would be better than labels. I just think labels just don't look right on a formal wedding invite.

oh i see what you're saying.
all of my outer envelopes were pretty much couples or singles (not families), so we just addressed them on the outside.
