I have no idea where to start with anything...so that includes invitations. I'm getting married in LI, but my fiance and I both live in NYC. Can anyone recommend somewhere reasonable in NYC to look at invitations....LI suggestions welcome as well.

I just got my invites in.. They came out beautiful. I went to the Wedding Center in Commack- they had the most reasonable price. My advice to you is shop around on the web and also go to a few places in the city and when you know what you want price the manufacturer. You would be suprised that a lot of discounters carry big names. My invites are by Elite...

we looked at a few places to get an idea of what we liked - then we wrote down the numbers/name and desigenr fo it and shoped online - we got it for nearly half the price....and they were quick and wonderful...if you want some of the online places we looked, fm me
(most online places offer free smaples too so you can see it before you order!!! - which i would definitely advise if you go the online route!)

just a suggestion...I would leave invites for right now...I would start looking at photographers and music first

I also got my invites at the wedding center, not only are they reasonable but very beautiful. They look so classy. They where very helpful with the wording too. Check them out

I got mine from Rebecca at Favorite Things Invitations (board vendor). Here are mine (since we are both having fall weddings).
