Invitations and RSVPS

Invitations and RSVPS

FH and I have just found out that our room capacity is 200. We invited about 220. I know they say that between 10-20% RSVP no, but we haven't seen those yet. So with that we're a little nervous about being over our capacity.

TIA!!!

You'll be fine! Everyone says the yes' come in first and the no's roll in later

The majority of our early responses were yesses, the nos didn't come until the end. A lot of people wanted to explain their reasoning as to why they could not attend to us or our parents in person/on the phone before sending their response cards back.

After our RSVP deadline and after we hunted down those who didn't respond, we received a few changes from yes to no because of issues that had come up in the interim (moving, bedrest and some stupid reason MILs cousin had that changed her whole family from yes to no).

heh, they're the ones who don't make the deadline!

so, very late.... But many of ours we knew they couldn't come... they're in other countries...

others are very local, and are too lazy or have too many issues with the institution of marriage to mail the card out

overall, about 70% of our non repsondants are in the former category, with the remaining 30% in the latter....
