What is the best glue or tape to use to affix the invitation to the background sheet and then to the pocketfold???

I would suggest using scotchtape brand double sided tape, instead of rubber cement or any other glue, I made two teaching art portfolios and the double-sided tape in the yellow box, helped A LOT!! hehe, no mess and it sticks very well. I hope this helps you!

OMG use double sided tape!!!!!! I tried a bunch of things and then I used the tape plus glue stick and it worked the best. Please take my advice and don't bother spending $$ on other stuff!! (oh and I still have your double sided tape so you can use that )

I used Scotch (its in the yellow packaging). I went all around the edge of the top cardstock and then put some gluestick in the middle and it sticks perfectly. Also, don't try and measure. I tried this and it gave me so many problems. I found that it worked better if I just eyeballed it. For the most part they are pretty even Just don't look too close!! If you need any help with them just bring em over... I have already done 100 so I would say I have gotten pretty good at it

The best stuff... made by Thermo web... Tape runner XL... double sided tape can be annoying if you get it over the edge.. it adhers well but this tape runner is sooooo great! this stuff is not tape, but like this gooie adhesive and you can position things very easily and is mess free! i tested using glue sticks.. made a MESS! and double sided tape i couldnt get a nice clean edge to my card stock... this is quick and easy...

you can get it at michaels and they have refills..

ETA picture... i used it for 3 layers of invitation and 3 layes for my seals... i can not recomend this stuff enough! even was easy enough for Fh to use and help me!!!Thermo Tape Runner

I did most of the whole border. If I missed a few spots here and there I just left it, but I used at least 4 pieces of tape for each invite. So far I have used 8 rolls for 90 4x6 attachments. I got the 3-packs they sell in k-mart and I think they were about $4 each.

Well i have to attach the tape to the invitation onto the background sheet. Then i have to attach the background sheet to the pocketfold. So i got through 15 invites on one roll of tape. so i'll be buying some more tape today!
