For Outer Envelopes- Did you have someone do it for you on a computer, do it yourself, or were they hand written? Who would you recommend and please give quotes? Thanks!

Re: Invitations - calligrapy
My grandfather did my outer envelopes but for my seating cards I used Michele Clark. She does awesome work, was done in a week and she was super cheap. Heres her info: [email protected]

I did them myself. Cost $10 for pen and ink. Pics in my album.

I used Pippy's Sweets...this is what they looked like and she charged me about $55 for 160 envelopes!!! Super inexpensive and I got so many complements on them!
I used Cynthia from Follow Your heart (vendors on here). They came out great and only $1 per set (inner/outer). She did computer calligraphy.

I used Mary Binder - it was .75/line so it was $2.25 per outer envelope. Expensive but I waited until the last minute. She did a stunning job!

I used her too, and although they came out nice I did not have the best experience with her. Also, one of our guests moved to a new address after we had gotten the envelopes done, and I was able to recreate the exact font, font size and position on my computer as Michelle had done. If you have a bit of time, save yourself the trip and $ and do them yourself, or use Inkspun.com...they're cheap, fast and efficient (I would have gotten mine done through inkspun but I got a deal for the envelopes and invitations through EZ Calligraphy).
