OK, so this is the last big thing I have to check off my list. And we went to look at some today, and they basically just gave us a bunch of books and left us alone with them. It was REALLY overwhelming, since everything seems to be able to come in all kinds of colors and fonts and matching envelope linings, etc.
Can anyone give me recommendations on good brands? What's worth the money vs. what is overpriced? And are there good online vendors that give discounts and help you through all the millions of choices out there?
TIA - for some reason this is the HARDEST thing I've done so far....

Re: Invitations - HELP!!
We got our invitations online from Invitations by Dawn. Their prices are reasonable and their service is great!

If you want help with the choices and selection process, and guidance with wording, I really don't recommend doing this online.
You should really go to a store that specializes in invitations. That is where you'll find a professional who will be more than happy to help you
checkerboard - great invites! They have a site so you can pre-view.

Try going to Cathy at the Invitation Station/Sweet Nut Hut (LIW Vendor) in Deer Park. She was extremely helpful, willing to go above and beyond, has great suggestions but doesn't 'push' you. And, the best part...I ordered my invites on a Saturday and picked them up the next Friday! 6 days later!!!!!!!

www.finestationary.com is a good website to start off with. If you find something you like in the books write down the info and search for the invite online. you'll prob find it alot cheaper.
