Okay so I had a look at some invitations this weekend and my FH thinks it's crazy how much they cost but I can definately persuade him to get the one I want.. but i'd like to evaluate how much everyone else is paying to see if I'm being silly.. We got quoted between $700-1000 for 125.. if you guys don't mind how much are you spending?

I spent $186 for 125 invites IMHO FH and I did not want to spend alot on invites that people are going to look at then throw away to us it felt like trowing $$ in the garbage again JMHO I know ALOT of the girls on here spent way more then me so my quote will def be lower. We used the money we saved on invites elsewhere, it made sense to us.

mine are from target, 17.99 a box....ink cost 75 but that is for all of my DIY projects...and they are beautiful!

$148 for 80 including all embellishments. i couldn't possibly justify spending a lot. all DIY! they look awesome (if i do say so myself :o)

We spent alot on invites but the problem we had is that we picked out the ones we wanted before knowing the price and of course didn't want to change. Ours cost $1300 including caligraphy

Thanks ladies!! It's nice to know there is a range and I personally am NOT a DYI kind of bride!! Things just don't come out nice believe me .. I'm going to look carefully when I go back but I'm not opposed to the quotes I got for the pocket invites.. Thanks a million guys!
