Invitations Help

Invitations Help

Hi ladies, I ordered my invitations and love them. My only problem is that I forgot to put 'Adult Only Reception' on them. I know it's too late to add it on, but can any of you help me think of a creative way to put 'Adult Only Reception' on either the invitation itself or the envelope? It's really important that I include this because I know people with alot of kids who may try to come with all of them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

maybe you can have a card insert made about the size of the RSVP card that would complement your invitation saying we're sorry . . . but adult only
or perhaps see if you could get that added onto your RSVP cards under the place where they write their names???? . I would think that the printer would be able to do that for you.

I'm of the mentality that the people invited will be listed on the addressee part of the envelope. Personally, I don't like the idea of putting 'adult only reception' on the invite.

If you don't want the kids at the wedding, don't put 'The so-and-so Family' on the envelope. Just put 'Mr. & Mrs. So-and-so.'

I agree with both previous posters. If you address the invite to 'Mr. and Mrs.' only, then they shouldn't assume their children are invited!! I also think that maybe you can get 'Adult Only Reception' printed on the RSVP cards. To get them re-done wouldn't cost TOO much possibly, or maybe a printer can do it for you at a discounted rate.

i agree with this. if they include their kids on the response card then i would just give them a call letting them know that it is adults only
