Re: Invitations Help
i got mine in the city at bloomingdales, but they are dauphine press, so you can get them at other initation stores, like papyrus and stuff.
We used Only Yours Personalized Gifts in Islip. Sorry I don't have a pic...
We had a slight problem because they shorted us ten invitations, but the owner took care of it right away and made sure the missing invites were rushed to us.
We ended up paying about $5 an invitation.

Re: Invitations Help
I recently ordered my engagement invitations from Weddingpaperdivas.com and they looked super cute.
I began looking at wedding inviations and they had alot of great ideas.
I paid about $1.50 for my engagment invitations and $.50 per envelope with a printed return address.
They always have coupons online if you check.
Hope this helps!
PS. My friend went to J&J in Merrick and her's were beautiful. I am not sure about $$ though...

Re: Invitations Help
We are going to use Katie from Design eleven studios. She is a vendor on here and does great work at affordable prices. She is very easy to work with and since all of her invitations are custom for what you are looking for she will work with you to get your thoughts and ideas on paper....

Re: Invitations Help
I got mine at The Invitation Station/Sweet Nut Hut in Deer Park:
The Invitation Station/Sweet Nut Hut 1938 Deer Park Avenue Deer Park, NY 11729
I worked with Cathy. She was amazing and very helpful. Kim who works there too is amazing! They have many books to look through and have good prices.
Definately check it out! Good luck!

Re: Invitations Help
I ordered mine online from For the Modern Bride. Pictures are in my album. All work is totally custom, she sends you a HUGE questionaire about aspects of your wedding so she can create something to go with your event. Mine were $350 for 100 invites, and an additional $1 per invite for custom computer calligraphy. The total was $450, and I have one-of-a-kind invites.

Re: Invitations Help
I love the idea of coustom invites. I'm having a star wars wedding, so i think the invites should have that feel to them, with the font and all.
Any lists of good vendors for coustom invite places/people on the site? I'll be honest, i come here mostly for the forum!!!!
