I am shopping around for invitations and I have no idea what is a good or bad price range. Does anyone have an average cost for wedding invitations?

I spent $200 for 100 invites, but that's definitely on the low end for wedding invites.

I have said this in regard to any bride who questions how much to spend on any given vendor. If you have to go into hock or make long drawn out credit card payments then something is too expensive for you. You need to examine your budget and decide where you want to spend your money. Some brides wouldnt blink an eye at spending hundreds if not thousands on invitations where others would rather use the money elsewhere. Honestly, if money were no object, Id have gone over the top on many things.

i spent $1000 for 100 invites so you know have both ends of the spectrum i think its whatever you want to spend, it all depends on the invites that you want

It depends on your budget and tastes. We spent just under $500 (with a deep discount) on 150. I've seen posts of $1700 for 100! That is crazy...and I just could NEVER justify that...I was baffled by that one...but they really cost her that much.

my original pick for invites was for $1900 for 125 of them, my FH insisted this was not happening lol...i ended up paying 1000 for 125..i still like the first ones better but ive gotten a ton of compliments on the ones i sent

Honestly, I spent $1500 for 125. But I LOVED them and so did our guests. I saw the letterpress invitations and knew I had to have them.

around 250 plus 50 for caligraphy...and they are freakign gorgeous i think lol!

mine were $325 (i think) for 150
sorry - forgot inkspun - $90 for inner and outer envelopes
