Invitations question!!

Invitations question!!

So we have our invitations but now we are waiting for our adressed envelopes from the calligrapher. Slight problem...They had originally asked us for a printed list of our guests with their addresses along with it downloaded to a disc. Today they call me and tell me the disc was blank (I guess something went wrong when FH was downloading it that we didn't realize). Anyway, they tell us we have to now email the calligrapher with all the addresses but we really have no access on our computer to do that.

I am definitely NOT going to retype everything into an email-it would take me forever! My question is..did anybody else have to give both a printed copy AND a disc? I don't understand why they can't just use the printed copy we gave them?

I'm so frustrated because my invitations are supposed to go out next week!

TIA

Re: Invitations question!!

Do you have the addresses saved anywhere on your computer? Like on Microsoft Word or Excel? If you do, it's easy... just e-mail them an attachment of the file
OR

Copy all the addresses (highlight with mouse and then hit control-C) and then paste into an e-mail (paste is control-V)

HTH!

I would give them the printer copy and just hope they have enough brains to spell everything right.

What about scanning it in? ? I guess thats a lame idea.

Talk to them and tell them ur predicament (sp).

Re: Invitations question!!

Thanks..I was thinking the same thing..what's so difficult about doing it from the printed list we gave them? AND everything is spelled out the way they asked. My FH is going to call tomorrow and probably raise a little h ell..I'm getting nervous because they really have to go out by next week, two weeks the latest!

Wish me luck!

Re: Invitations question!!

if it's hand calligraphy, then they should have no problem doing it from a printed list.

if you're using computer calligraphy, then they need to have the list either on a disk or via email in a MS Word document form.
