Ok, so, am I right that each adult member of the house gets an invite? My FH has his aunt and uncle whose 2 grown up (in their 20s) kids live w/them. One had a girlfriend who is also invited.
So that would make 3 invites!!!!
Is it OK if we put the aunt/uncle and single daughter on one invite and the son/gf on another?
Is that bad form :( Sees kinda extreme? or nonsensical? to send more than 1 invite?
Or do I even have it right?
We're inputting addresses right now. Fun.

Re: Invitations Question (Adressesing/how many)
I would give each kid an invite.....when I was in my earlier 20's I always got my own invite with a guest regardless of whether or not I was dating someone, of coarse only if i was seeing someone serious did i bring a date, i never brought a date just to bring one, it was family they didnt need me to bring insignificant people. But I believe the rule of thumb would be everyone over the age of 18 gets their own invite

If you're sending the son and gf their own invite..the daughter should get her own too if she's over 18!

Over 18 gets their own invitation...even if it means 5 invites going to the same place.

Re: Invitations Question (Adressesing/how many)
we sent them to every person over the age of 18 in a household- I had houses where I sent 3 envelopes- as frustrating as it was, it is etiquette

Re: Invitations Question (Adressesing/how many)
All of our guests are over 18. A few of our cousins live at home with their parents. We sent the household a Save the Date but we sent each guest their own invitation.
You'll get different answers on what you should/shouldn't do but in the end you're gonna do what is best for you.
When I was invited to weddings after I turned 18 I always got my own invite. I don't think I would have minded if I didn't... but if my brother who lived at home got his own, and I didn't...that might have bothered me.

I was thinking that too... wouldn't she get offended... then bummed because she doesn't have a bf, that's why she didn't get the invite? I'd be po'd too!!!!

Re: Invitations Question (Adressesing/how many)
We just had that same problem tonight. We were makin up our list and I think it's best to send a separate invite for anyone over 18.
