Invitations: What if you dont have a middle name?

Invitations: What if you dont have a middle name?

Wont it look kinda odd on the invitation? Any advice?

I don't think it will look weird. Not everyone has a middle name so I wouldn't stress too much about it

I dont have a 'real' middle name so I have been using my confirmation name for the longest time. But if you dont have one, it cant look weird becuase its your name.

I don't, FH does. I thought it looked strange so I added our last names. Then that looked really weird, so those came off.

i have a middle name and fh doesn't (he uses his mother's maiden name) so i didn't include any middle names---

just put

I'm in the same boat and FH really wants his middle name...he uses it for everything, so I'm going with it - weirdness and all.

neither of us have middle names I think it looked fine, but if you dont have one and your FH does I think that will look fine also.

my FH doesn't have a middle name, and i thought of how weird it would look. the bottom line is u don't have one and u can't make one up so use what u have.

i don't think so - but i don't have a middle name so we just used our firsts

It's funny that you mentioned this. I don't have a middle name but FH does. He is also a Lieutenant Commander and putting in his full name and title on the invite added up to 6 words!!! My puny two-worded name seemed really imbalanced on the invite, so I added my confirmation name and it looked a lot better.

I never use my confirmation name, so a few people may wonder when I got a middle name, but I don't mind explaining. I figure this is a religious ceremony, so I might as well use my religious middle name for once!

I don't have a middle name, but my FH does. He hates it, so I think I will end up just writing our first names on the invite.

Question: my FH and his father share the same name. Should I write Jr. and Sr. when reffering tho them in the invite?
