Invitations...what am I supposed to order?

Not that Im looking to order now, but I was looking around and Im confused as to what i have to order, Printed envelopes? Outer printed envelopes? Reception only cards? I dont understand any of this. Can someone clear the air for me and explain? Thanks!!

I ordered:
inner envelopes
outer envelopes with return address
RSVP card with address on envelope
reception card

We ordered:
The invitations
Reception card
RSVP card (these come with envelopes) with return address--this means that the address you designate to receieve the RSVPs will be printed on the outside.
Outer envelopes (with return address--you pay extra for this but I think it's worth it just in case).
Inner envelopes

Order EXTRA envelopes. I didn't and was freaking out. Thankfully, I have enough since I ordered extra invites.

For me, I wanted the return address printed on the back flap of all our invites - this is actually pretty standard. Outer address would apply to either the RSVP envelopes or the outer envelope of the entire invite - or both. Confused? LOL

You should have a reception card IF your recpetion is at a different location than your ceremony. Though I have seen invites with all the info - ceremony and then reception info at the bottom - all in one...so that you don't have to pay for the seperate reception card.

Definitely need RSVP cards and envelopes.

Lined envelopes are a nice touch...but I would only splurge on the inner envelope...since that is what holds the invite and info and the outer gets torn open and tossed.

Anything else?

Oh yeah, I got lined inner envelopes. They're a nice extra, but you don't need them. Also, some invites don't come with inner envelopes.

Lisa: In my package it said that they're might be extra of some things, but there weren't
