If a couple is engaged but do not live together, do you send the invite to one of them and then write out both of their names on the inside envelope, or do you send it to one of them but put both of their names on the outside envelope?

You send them each an invite...or send it to the girl (or guy, depends who you're closer to) and write both of their names on the inner.

I agree. You can either send them each one or if you want to save money (we did), just send it to the person you're closest to with only that person's name on the outer envelope. On the inner envelope, write both their names. Good luck!
