invite addressing question

how did you address your invites to couples who have been in long term relationships but do not live together?

Mr XXX & Ms YYY

or

Mr XXX & Guest

Even if they don't live together and I knew their significant others name, I put both names

So Mr. Xx and Ms. Yy

I think it's rude if they've been together a while and you still screws their companion as guest instead of by their name

You should put both names, absolutely.

I would think the only reason you would put 'and guest' is if you don't know the other person. In the cases where I knew the significant other's first name but not last name, I just sent a text message or fb message to confirm. But we only sent one invitation and generally to the person of the couple who we are closest to.

I put both names on anyone who's been a relationship for a while.

Re: invite addressing question

If they are a couple & not married we addresses:

Mr. & Ms. (the woman;s name) This way was the easiest way to use the LIW tool & print the labels directly from the site.

even tho the proper way to address it if a couple is not married would be:

Mr. Man
Ms. Woman
street address
town, Sate, zip

Agreed Last year, FH's cousin got married and they addressed our invitation to Mr. Ryan ____ & Guest. I was pretty offended considering we had been living togther for almost 2 years at that point and had been together for almost 4 years!

Re: invite addressing question

List them on separate lines but address it to the main person you're inviting.
