Invite Assembly Help (quick!) -- last time, I promise!

Invite Assembly Help (quick!) -- last time, I promise!

Okay, I'm assembling my invites right now and I *know* that you're 'supposed' to put it in the following order (starting from what you see when you first open the inner envelope):

1) Enclosures (maps/directions/accomodations) in size order

2) RSVP Card

3) RSVP envelope (with flap overhanging onto RSVP card)

4) Invite

Is this what you all actually did though? It just looks a little weird to me that my 4x6 direction card and my 4x6 accomodation card are right on top.

Is it okay to put them in the back or is that 'wrong' and will people notice?

Thanks for the help (again )

As long as this is the LAST time You are so cute.

I did the complete opposite since I didn't want people looking at my ugly direction card first. Not one person said, you know, the direction card goes first so I think it was fine.

Seriously, I really like the invitation on top to see first.

Thanks! I think it looks cute with the RSVP card on top but not my Kinko-fied direction cards! I just want to stick them in the back!

I agree! I did my direction cards on my computer and copier at work and they are on cardstock but so ugly! Do what looks the prettiest- people really don't know. If my obnoxious FMIL didn't say anything, than I KNOW its fine

Awesome, I'll do it 1/2 'right' -- RSVP on top and direction/accomm. in the back.

Seriously though, I'm having way too much fun secretly numbering my RSVP card with this invisible ink and black light pen . Best $10 I ever spent

I did the 'regular' ink and someone actually said- OH, we are number 10, we must rate high They didn't even realize their last name started with a B I wish I thought of the invisible ink!

BTW: thank God I learned this from you guys- My FH has so many relatives with the same names and no one puts their first names and wife's name on the reply card. I would have had to make a million phone calls

I got one with pencil on the front of the RSVP. We were like number 260. B list anyone?

I got the pen and light from Steve Spangler Science for about $8. I spent $10 to have it shipped UPS 3rd day though so I could make sure it was here this weekend. It's really a lot of fun!

There is no B list for our wedding- God knows I wish more would say no.... But that is the greatest idea I ever heard!!!
