Invite Drama...im gonna scream!!! **UPDATE**

i HATE kinkos!!!!!!1


So, i dont know if some of you read the post i made on sat about how I went to pick up the proof of my invite and it wasnt ready, and we had to sit in kinkos for like 3 hrs while they set it up and fixed the font and got it right??

Well, Everything was fine, i signed off on the proof, had a copy of it, the guy put the paper in the folder with the instructions oh how to print it and everything....says dont worry, you arent going to pay for the printing because he cut the vellum for the invites and messed it up so bad he had to drive 2 hrs away to buy me more paper! so they will be ready by 8 am monday...

So i go to get them today, THEY ARE F****NG WRONG!!

They are not spaced right, the font isnt the right font nothing!! the only thing that was right was the response cards!! So i got soooo mad at the guy there cuz i was like are you serious!?!!? you printed 150 invites without checking the 1st one that came out to make sure it was right?!?! thats why i gave them extra paper!! So he takes it back to the manager and this is what he says....
' There is nothing that we are going to do for you since you are already getting the printing for free' WHAT!?!!?! Even if I was paying for the printing, its still wrong!!! i am still screwed cuz i dont have anymore cardstock!! we bought it on clearance over a year ago!!

The manager never even came out to talk to us!! just sat in the back room and had one of the employees come out and deal with us! he said well if you have the receipt then we can give you the money to buy more! its over a year go!? do you think we have it!? no! so after 1 hr of me freaking out on them, they agreed to go get us more cardstock and we can pick it up tomorrow....and they said well we wont print it for you....NO KIDDING!

I am soooo mad So instead we are going to pick it up tomorrow, and go to Staples.....(and thats going to be my new last name so maybe we should have just gone with them from the start!!!)

Sorry so long girls im just SOOOOO mad!!


****UPDATE****

so i just got back from Kinkos AGAIN! and i spoke with the 1st guy that I speaking with again. As soon as he saw me he was like I AM SOOOO Sorry!!! I cant believe they messed it up!' I said Yea, you and me both pal!' so the other manager came over with my card stock and I showed her what was wrong on both the invites and the response cards. She said that she had someone come in that knows how to use the laser printer at the store and they can print them there or if i dont need them like TODAY, then I can have them sent out to the printing company and they will print them there with the raised ink and all.

So, Im sending it out to the printing company since i have lost all faith that anyone in that store has any idea of what their job is. I will get a proof tomorrow and I will see how it looks, hopefully, all is going to be fine! :)

I JUST WANT MY INVITES :( :( :(

How aggrivating! I hate when people are like that...if you hate your job that much...get a new one

If I were you I would write a letter to the headquarters

I second that... let them know what terrible customer service that location has... maybe they'll give you a credit or something. Although I don't think you're planning on ever going back there!

OMG...I would seriously want to kill them!!! How frustrating...

OMG!!! You poor thing. I think I would have strangled him and then they would have to have me arrested for kicking his butt!!!

I swear some people don't understand how important every detail is to a bride. I would have demanded all of my money back and told them I was reporting them to the BBB

I hope Staples works out for you and gives you exactly what you want.

Honestly, I would suggest going to an invitation store rather than a office supply store to have your invitations printed. They are more used to working on projects like these, and will take more time and care to make sure everything is correct for you.

there are none around here in FL and its more money that way...

I'm so sorry you went through this! It's amazing how some places don't seem to care about the product they give to the customer. Good for you that you wouldn't give up until they replaced the cardstock. Hope Staples turns out ok. Maybe your future last name will bring you some much needed luck!

That is unacceptable. You should contact someone in the regional are for that Kinko's store. There is no reason that they should produce shoddy work.
