Ok so we went looking at invites yesterday. FH likes one and I like the other.
My colors are red and gold and everything is very antique looking.
I must add that the pictures for these both stink. They are much nicer in person. The ripped ones hav a shiny pearl accent along the edges....my computer screen is too bright and drowns it out. HELP
Choice one
choice two

I like #2, Choice two looks modern, especially considering your theme

I like the second one but, just remember, because it's square, it's going to cost more to mail! I love square invitations and it kills me that they cost more to mail.

I like the second one. I'm not a big fan of the folded invites though. But I love the bows.......

A friend actually just used the 2nd invite - it is very nice - simple and elegant.

Actually, that is not true. I went to the post office with my square invite with all the inserts, and it was 63 cents just like all other wedding invites. I asked the guy at the post office about it and he said you only pay extra for size for regular 39 cent mail, but once you hit the 63 cent price size doesn't matter.

Yup. My square invites were 0.63 also.

I voted for 2 because I like the pearls on the edge, and it looks vintage-y to me!

That's good to know! So many people were telling me that they were more than the regular sized ones. My mom saw on tv that someone's FH tried to help them out by mailing the invitations out and they all got returned back because he didn't have the right postage (but, he probably just put regular postage on them).
