Invite Inserts Help

Invite Inserts Help

FH and I have a slight dilemma about what our inserts should be for our pocket fold invites. Our ceremony and reception location are the same, so I don't need a separate card for that.

Right now we have:
1. Response card
2. Rehearsal Dinner invite (only for those invited).

Now it's a destination wedding so everyone is coming from out of state, so I don't think I need a directions card, or do I?

As for the accommodations card, I'm sending out a STD in April that will direct everyone to the wedding website with all that information on it. Would it be redundant to have it in the invite as well?

My Invite Designer also suggested a 'things to do in San Diego' card, instead of the above, but I'm also going to have that on the wedding website.

Ladies, I'm at a loss. Not sure what the heck I'm supposed to put!!!

what about your itinerary? so they know the timeline of the wedding and the day before and after events and then they can plan accordingly, in case they want to do something else while they are there?

Unfortunately we aren't having any before or after events. The only before event that we are having is the rehearsal the night before, but that is going to be limited to a few people.

hi...i would probably include an insert with for example

Information
Accommodation Directions
'your website here'

I also sent out our website in our stds but i plan on also putting it in the invites so that people can be reminded to check it out and get all the info on hotels, transportation, things to do in the area etc.

hope that helps

Re: Invite Inserts Help

I think your invite designer just wants the extra cash, I'd include the minimal amount of inserts. You'll save money on the inserts themselves and probably on postage! It seems like you've really got all the info covered and they'll all just get lost anyway!!

ETA: I flipping love your dress!!!
