invite list is almost finalized!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sending out the list to the calligrapher on Friday. . .and I believe we have EXACTLY 100 envelopes to address. (Mom told me just to address the envelopes going to aunts/uncles and 20-something cousins who still live at home to 'The X Family' and that nobody would be offended.)

So far, we have 218 people invited. . .hopefully we'll get 180?

The number of guests is freaking me out a little bit. . .we want 180, but the fact that well over 200 are invited is making us go !!!

Hopefully, we'll get some NOs. . .is it bad that I'm thinking that way?

WHOA!!! That's what I'm dreading: having to spend time on the phone with people who are too lazy to send back the RSVP.

Even when I know I can't go to a wedding (like I had to do for a good college friend--her wedding is on a Friday night in April in Rochester, NY, so I just couldn't do it), I always make sure I send the RSVP back.

What makes people so ugh about that?

I am hoping for no's too lol I feel bad but our list grew so fast and before we knew it it was almost 200 so now I am praying that we get alot f no's lol

Our list just kept growing and growing. . .FMIL kept on adding family friends and I had a couple of people who I couldn't leave off (especially since my dad gave me a lecture about making sure I included people who invited me to their weddings on the invite list). . .so here we are, 218.

Come to think of it, that's one of my dad's lucky numbers!!!!
