ok- i am starting to freak b/c i know i am already late mailing the invites ( wedding 10-20) - i was scheduled to go to the post offce this morining but with the rain, i cant help but think that all my FH hard work(he jsut finished them while i was away) will be ruined because of the weather.....what happens if the addressed enveoped run because they get wet and then dont get to the guests??!!! is there somehting you do at the post office wehn mailing out ur invites?

I had mine ina box and covered, do that so they don't get wet.

funny, i had the same experience this morning. I stayed up late finishing stuffing all the envelopes and was all pumped to mail them, but then was like HOLY CRAP! I AM NOT RISKING GETTING THESE WET! i briefly thought about covering the box in a poncho while bringing it to my car, but i realized i'd look like a fool. so, i guess i'll be mailing them tomorrow. pray for sun, lol
i never thought the weather would have such an impact on my invites, but i also had a problem last week. It was so humid that my envelopes expanded and kept jamming up my printer as i was printing the envelopes. i know i'm a huge nerd but i think it's funny that sunny days + low humidity = good days for working on invitations
