Invite Mayhem

My invites will be in the mail today!!! Yeah! I'm just annoyed that my mom and FH is still trying to add people... I bought extras but now I have none left... Totally stressed but I figured this weekend I should start getting responses. Let the games begin!!!!

Yay! There may be days where no responses come, I get sad on those days, LOL. Just be prepared. :)

My RSVP by date is next Wednesday. There are still 40 something responses we haven't received yet. dafuq is taking so long?!?!?

People like to take their time. Even if they know they are going. I had people saying 'It's not the RSVP date yet.' And I said 'Well you know you're going so why not just send the stamped envelope in the mail???'

I've had that said to me. So freakin annoying! People are so rude! My RSVP date is today and I am missing a little less than half of my RSVPs! Since I sent my invites out I have been getting a pretty steady flow of responses but this past wk, nothing! Every time I open my mailbox and see nothing I get so annoyed! : bang:

ME TOO!!! I'm a little down when I don't get any. Besides close family (parents/grandparents) that is suppose to be there and a few friends, I haven't received much. Average 2 per day.

My parents are still adding people to the list, people that aren't family or close friends. I had to lie to them and tell them I'm down to 1 extra invite and I need it for my wedding day. It will be 300+ to order another 25. They have stopped adding people.

I just want to have a damn wedding. Or I hear, 'So and So said they can't make it, still send them an invite and send to Mr. so and so to replace the no. Really!!! So I have to order more which means more money and less time to send them out. When I complain, I hear invites are cheap, stop complaining... but I am super cheap...

You have every right to be annoyed. Invites AREN'T Cheap, then you have to factor in the postage, time it takes you to address and put them together, etc. It's a big hassle!

.....And when you spend hundreds of dollars on postage, and people don't mail them back......! I've noticed that some parts of the country are worse than others....they think we're being 'highfalutin'. (It's an actual word!)
