My RSVP cards for invites have this silvery paper and are folded (with wording on the outside top part, and inside blank). Where do I put the # in case my guests forget to write down their name? Here is the picture of the invite to show you the paper (I am not even sure that writing in pencil will work)
I think it should go on the back of the response card in the corner.

Re: Invite Numbering Question
even for a folded card? I'll try it on one and see how it will work... what if pencil won't show or will smudge?

Re: Invite Numbering Question
I still think it should go on the back corner. If you put it inside, the guest will see it!

Re: Invite Numbering Question
I would put it tiny on the inside back of the front part- up by the crease-- noone will see it there.

Re: Invite Numbering Question
dcbride,
Guests will be able to open card, and if were to receive it I would open it expecting something else to be said inside... I am bit weirded out that that its a folded card, I would have preferred it being a postcard style thing.

Re: Invite Numbering Question
Mine was a folded response card and I wrote the number inside in pencil by the crease.
Some people did open and it and commented on the number (it was funny) but most did not say a thing. Now when I get folded cards I open them to see if they do the numbering thing because I never heard of this before reading about it on this site .. hehe...It is helpful because I did get some that worte things I couldn't understand or didn't write in their name.

Re: Invite Numbering Question
We did this numbering for the RSVP's as we'd received some with no name but check 'will attend' and some no names with 'will not attend' and some with Chinese names that we can't read with 'will attend.' We put it on the bottom corner, on the back of the RSVP card in small print using a pencil. We didn't have a gold lining envelope or any fancy paper so it cut costs down.
