I was quoted $1200 for 100 invitations....I think this is pretty steep...what do you think??

Is it a pocketfold or complex design?
My invites were about half that (maybe a little more), with lined envelopes and colored ink, including thank you notes, and I ordered 125. My invites are fairly simple, though - large square invites with reception card and response card.

They were not pocket fold, fairly simple as well. The quote included invites with lined envelopes and colored ink, with reception card and response card.

Mine were a quarter of that for 100-lined envelopes, reception cards, colored ink, printed return address, etc. Mine were simple but still seems steep.

is it letterpress or thermography. letterpress would usually be a lot more expensive.

That seems very high. I am getting quotes for around that price for 150 custom pocketfold invitations.

Thanks for the feedback, I thought they were pretty high as well..just wanted to make sure. Any ideas on where I can get Invitations and not have to assemble them? Im not very crafty
