Invite question
Do I need to make a meat/fish option on the RSVP??? I don't see anyone doing this anymore but don't I have to tell the RH how many plates of what?

What RH?? I don't think any halls do that anymore.
ask your RH--we were wondering this too, but our RH said they just take the orders at the wedding--they don't need a count! I had a friend who got married at a country club recently and she did need it....I would check with your RH!
They never mentioned it, but I was just looking at invites and saw it as an option and was like do I need that?
Ask your RH, but you probably dont need to make guests choose now. Most RH just have them order at the wedding. Its probably just an option b/c they do it outside NY still.
i have never seen this done in NYC, although i have seen it ALOT in other states but i wouldn't worry about it, your guests won't expect this at all
I had to choose an entree at a friend's wedding recently when it was a tented wedding and she brought in an outside caterer who was contracted only for that day. At an RH with a kitchen, they have more than enough on hand and you usually don't have to choose before.
Glad you asked the question. I just assumed I'd have to do this. I'd be VERY happy not to!
I was recently invited to a wedding in NJ and they did have that. But then, once we got to the hall, they came around and ordered and we didn't have to abide by what we put on the card - it was weird.
99% of RHs in this area don't do it anymore.
