How long before the wedding should I mail out the invites?.. I was thinking 8 weeks before. But i see some of you mailed them out earlier. Im having my invites made and she said I would have them no later than 8/24... which gives me 1 week to have them out by my 8 week mark... Does this sound right?
Invites should normally go out at least 2 months before the wedding. Some girls send them out earlier, though. I would aim for 2 months before. I would maybe ask her to get them to you sooner so you aren't rushing around to get them out in a week.
I'm planning on sending mine out 2 months before the wedding. We don't really have many OOT guests at all, so we don't have to worry about giving those ppl extra time to make travel arangements.
I plan to send mine out 3 months before, but only because we have a lot of out of towners.
Yes, 8weeks/2months is just about right. Unless you are doing your wed on a holiday weekend and you really want guests to plan ahead
