invite question

My friend saw the proof of my invite and she brought up a question. Do you girls know which is correct

the twelfth of October
two thousand and eight

or

the Twelfth of October
Two Thousand and Eight.

I know I probably spelled twefth. Should it be all caps? I think that looks more correct

i'm looking at our sample invite and it reads:

on Saturday, the twenty-fifth of June
two thousand eight
at three o'clock in the afternoon

i'd look at my actual invite, but its in the bedroom and dh is sleeping, and i don't want to wake him!

i just looked at other samples and it reads

two thousand and eight

This is how my invite is:

on Friday, the twenty-fifth of July
Two thousand and eight

so yours would be:

on Sunday, the twelfth of October
Two thousand and eight
