invite question

invite question

is the inner envelope necessary...i assumed my invites would have them and i was just informed that they wont...should i pay extra and get the inner envelope

The inner envelope is not necessary. I would just send them in the one envelope...Why pay extra for something eveyone is going to throw in the trash?

i just wanted the inner envelope so that there wont be confusion as to whos invited and people wont bring their kids...but i dont know if its worth the extra money

I did them only because I was too lazy to call all the people bringing guests I didnt know to find out their names.

meaning I didnt want to address the outter envelope

if you dont/wont have this issue, it really is extra paper/money for nothing IMO

we just used them when there were kids involved which was like three cases. . so outside was names and inside wit the kids but we didn't even use the other ones. .

We got an inner envelope. My mom insisted on it. She paid for them so, that was her deal.

its not needed... i found out all the names of sig others and their kids etc and wrote it on the main envelope... Etiquette went out the window once my mom took over the job of addressing them

thats a good idea i can still do them and not waste so much money

Honestly you do not really need them but they are nice to have. If you have the extra money get them... if not then dont. Mine sent me ALOT exta. How big are your invites?
