Invite question?

This is a very sticking sitution, esp since he is laid off, if he wasnt I would have said yes

IMO:
I would invite him to the church, that way he comes and see you married and doesnt have to give a gift.

I feel if you do invite him bc of the lack of funds it would put him on the spot.even if you were to tell him listen do not bring me a gift he prob will.

ummm I say don't bother, he's going to know it's last minute. I wouldn't bother b/c I'm sure everything is set already as far as the reception.
