Invite question

hey all....

Our wedding date is March 1st, 2014. My question is when should invites go out....I was thinking f sending them out the last week of November to beat xmas rush and people could RSVP before 2/1/14 or send out 12/26 and have the same RSVP date. I was thinking the earlier one just so people could prepare.

Everyone told me 8 to 10 weeks before. We sent them out this week, which was 9.5 weeks before our wedding (1/4/14) and our RSVP date is 12/4/13 (1 Month Before)

I would go with the 12/26 date. I feel like with all th holiday cards your invite would just get lost under cards on the refrigerator lol
