Quick question. I'm about to start packaging my invites, but I have a problem.
Do you put the RSVP card already in the RSVP envelope or not?
Totally confused and can't find the answer anywhere.

the way that we did it for my friends wedding was put it with the envelope flap over lapping the card, not putting the card inside the envelope, and not putting it outside... hope that makes sense!

These are instructions I got off of one of the invite websites:
w/ the back of the large envelope facing you, put the invitation and it's protective tissue sheet in,
on top of that, put in the reception invitation facing up,
put in the response card, printed side up. it should be lying w/in the flap of the small response envelope, stamped,
