Right after my invitations went into production (I'm getting them from Tessa) I realized that they don't say anything like, 'Reception immediately following ceremony.' So there's no reception card and no mention of a reception. Obviously it's implied, but do you think it matters if that's not there or should I have her make a last minute change? Thanks girls!

Re: Invite question - I forgot something!
I think that it is up to you.
If she can still do it and it will make you feel better the go for it.
If not peopel will know.

I would ask Tessa to make the last minute change. Most people will know but some may not.

Thanks girls! She already printed them up. I emailed her and asked if it's necessary to include a note about the reception. I'm a dope for not realizing this sooner.

I didn't put it on my invites either. In the end everyone I invited knows that they are invited to the reception so I didn't worry about it.

Re: Invite question - I forgot something!
ditto.... everyone that was invited to the ceremony was invited to the reception. We did not put any mention of a receptional immediately following... it would have made ours too wordy.
it's not needed unless you are planning on having a more 'open' ceremony and then a smaller reception where not everyone is invited. Then a seperate reception card should be placed in those invitations.

If your ceremony is not being held in a church then I think most people will realize that the reception is immediately following.

Re: Invite question - I forgot something!
Most people will probably realize it if it's at the same location as the ceremony. But if she can make the last minute change, have her do it. Can't hurt to ask!
